EVICA H I S T O R Y
2000 Evican years ago, four highly prestigious equines once roamed the tranquil lands of Evica. These equine gods weren’t the typical horses, unlike others the four gods inherited a golden chain-like possession hung around their necks, on the chains were these stones that held extraordinary powers. Hence the titles these four equines held; gods. Each stone had a certain power.
The Enophora (light) stone that belonged to the Enophorian god had healing powers, Shimonus (dark) stone belonged to the Shimonian god had immortality, Syodusae (neutral) stone belonged to the Syodusian god had stealth. These powers were all very important in a world like Evica.
The gods were once very close but once they found out these powers were unlike any other, it had consumed their poor withered souls and of course, these four prestigious gods never met eye-to-eye with one another ever again, causing all four to go out on a hunt and find lands for themselves. Lands to find the company of others their own kind and hopefully initiate a herd, that was the first easy task and only easy task the gods ever accomplished in their sacrosanct superior lives.
A certain amount of unknown Evican time sped by, causing hatred and greed between the Enophorian (light alliance) god and Shimonian (dark alliance) god due to the obvious rules they had set for themselves, neither saw eye to eye with them. The Shimonian god was a rebellious and cruel stallion who ordered death upon the Enophora race. When this bit of information was let out between the two alliances, the Syodusian god had heard the graving news and feared for themselves and both sides but dared not to get involved with this boiling hatred.
Dark clouds shimmered over all the lands in Evica, the sea currents crashed even more violently against each other and the earth began to tremble..
Adrenaline and hatred boiled in the veins of the Shimonus alliance, eagerly waiting for the perfect time to strike the Enophora’s lands. Destroying and killing each and every one of them and in this process, also taking over the land, in hopes to become the strongest alliance ever formed. Meanwhile, the Enophoras hid in caves and feared for days on end for their lives. Many many times did the Enophorian god try to talk some sense into the Shimonian god but nothing could get through to the thick and bull-headed stallion. It only made things more worse.
On the brighter things of Evica, the scallywags had nothing to do either of the alliances, being free to roam wherever they pleased. Sometimes the scallywags would do errands for either alliance, destroying homes or killing a certain equine but were never asked to do a task that was any larger than killing a defenceless equine. The Shimonian god wanted to have the taste of satisfaction and rusty blood engraved on his teeth.
The days grew darker and more fearful, the weather ferocious more than ever and the nights grew icy. Not many had survived these dark times, lots had died off after not being strong enough to survive the harsh conditions of Evica or some had been horrendously murdered by one another.
What the gods didn’t know about was soon to come and they had better be prepared..
It was the day of the controversial fight of Evica between the Enophoras and Shimonus’, the other two alliances; scallywags and Syodusae’s kept to themselves and hoped for the best. Building protective guards around their acclaimed land, keeping the herd safe and listening to their god’s orders. Meanwhile, the Enophoras were preparing for the worse due to being the lighter of all alliances and believed in “fights don’t fix conflict” rules, but this was unavoidable, no matter how much the Enophorian god disapproved of it. Now more than ever, the Shimonus’ were craving the blood of the Enophora alliance and couldn’t wait any longer.
Before anyone knew it, both alliances clashed together on one another, reaching for jugulars and tearing out bones. It was a bloody sight for anyone to see and witness the brutality of horse power.
The creature that no gods knew of was now circling the clouded and murky sky, looking down and preparing to land, putting an end to this mass destruction.
A large piercing road from above caught everyone’s attention down below, well the ones who were left anyway. Then next, an unexpected trembling thump hit the ground, a smoke of dust rose above twirling into the air and slowly revealed the savage beast; Xor. An incredibly strong creature with the torso of a horse but the wings of a chinese dragon. A huge blast of fire breathed outwards from Xor’s mouth, attempting to frighten the equine kind and it had worked.
After the ordeal between Xor and the two alliance gods, they came to an agreement to never cause any conflict between either alliances and as for punishment, Xor had imprisoned the equine kind until he feels it’s right to let them go from his grasp. Xor took the opal necklaces from all the gods, ruining their unique powers and made it harder to get them back, having to pay Evphyles for a type of power.
Time still hasn’t come for the Evican equine kind, still prisoners to Xor, fearing he might come back.
